Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine how well mindfulness and psychoeducational therapies work for mental health issues in teenagers. Using the Google Scholar search engine, 7 national and international research articles published in the last 5 years were reviewed as part of a systematic literature review methodology. Significant benefits of mindfulness interventions on teenage mental health issues, including improved emotion regulation skills, resilience, and decreased stress, sadness, and anxiety, were discovered by the research findings from the identification of these seven research papers. This literature review concludes with further evidence supporting the beneficial effects of mindfulness and psychoeducation on the mental health of adolescents.
