PREVENTING TIKTOK SOCIAL MEDIA ADDICTION THROUGH PSYCHOEDUCATION SERVICES FOR STUDENTS

Abstract

The negative effects of using TikTok social media have occurred a lot in students such as the number of irresponsible, excessive and inappropriate students using social media so that it can affect the individual in behavior. Therefore it is important to provide understanding and increase knowledge about the correct and effective use of TikTok social media through psychoeducation in an effort to prevent TikTok social media addiction in students, this literature uses Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with the PRISMA technique. At the beginning, researchers searched for journals from trusted sources, namely Databases, Registers with an initial number of 265 articles after going through the process through the PRISMA method, the final results of the articles obtained based on predetermined qualifications, which are related to preventing TikTok social media addiction through psychoeducation services for students, 7 articles were obtained that could be reviewed and related to the variables to be discussed. From the review of existing journals, it is found that psychoeducational services can prevent TikTok social media addiction in students.
