Abstract

Self-management is a change in behaviour that is managed by the individual himself to change behaviour with self-awareness. The application of self-management techniques through group counselling activities has proven effective in reducing student aggressiveness. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of group counselling self-management techniques in reducing student aggressiveness. The method used in this research is a literature study by collecting various information from trusted sources in the form of journals, proceedings, and e-books related to the subject of this research. The results showed that group counselling self- management techniques were effective in reducing verbal and physical aggressiveness in students.
