MOTORCYCLE GANGS IN TEENAGERS USING GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING SERVICES

Abstract

The problem of delinquency committed by motorbike gangs is a quite serious social problem. This action can disturb general public order and lead to criminal acts. This research was conducted with the aim of describing efforts to deal with motorcycle gangs among teenagers using guidance and counseling services. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection carried out in this research was through observation of existing motorbike gangs accompanied by a literature study. Based on the results of this research, the efforts that guidance and counseling counselors make to deal with the problem of teenagers joining motorbike gangs is to use guidance and counseling services for teenagers, such as building good relationships with teenagers, increasing teenagers' awareness, providing information and resources to teenagers, helping teenagers. to build social and emotional skills, increase motivation and hope, and follow up and collaborate with security forces and the community.
