This study program continues to develop graduates who can compete globally. The stage that must be passed is to follow system standard Outcome-Based Education (OBE), which focuses on what students should have or should do in achieving graduation. In the OBE method, learning outcomes are carried out by an identification process and continued with an assessment process and learning methods adapted to these outcomes; it is one of the orientations of Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM). The main issues are that the study program still does not have a handbook module that follows the OBE curriculum. The aim of this research is to develop a module handbook that is adapted to the OBE curriculum and validated. This type of this study is development research using Research and Development (RnD) with a 4-D Models. This procedure is defined, designed, developed, and disseminated. The defined stage is the stage regarding the characteristics of learning activities. The design stages are media and formats used in module development. Develop stage purpose The goal of the development stage is to produce a final draft and the disseminate distribution of module development. The result of this study is that learning activities of the program's learning objectives are formulated into Program Learning Outcomes (PLO), and each handbook module has defined it. The design results are module handbook content according to the OBE curriculum. Two validators have validated the developed result with a percentage 89%%, 88 % students readability validation and 83.32% lecturers readability validation. The readability test was carried out on 19 students and seven peer lecturers to see if the handbook module was appropriate. From these criteria, the module handbook is appropriate to be distributed. In order to support teaching during the COVID-19 pandemic, the distribution of the handbook module through the upload process to the website of the mechanical engineering department.
Novi Sukma Drastiawati Priyo Heru Adiwibowo Indra Herlamba Siregar Iskandar Copyright (c) 2022 Proceeding Series of International Conference on Arts and Humanities 2022-03-09 2022-03-09 2 Infusing Storytelling and Game Elements in Designing Instructional Media https://proceeding.unesa.ac.id/index.php/picah/article/view/22
Storytelling and games have been utilized successfully in education to increase involvement and engagement. However, according to recent research, storytelling and games are not always appropriate to integrate into an instructional setting. Although considered enjoyable, it is not always evident how a storytelling session or game may help students learn or how it can be utilized in a class. The approach was used in creating the Savior of the Kingdom Plantae game, which assists in the learning of middle school Biology. In an ADDIE model, we used the 5/10 approach in the (analyze) design process of the instructional media. To gather more input in this exploratory study, we asked an expert in educational media design and five middle school students to try on the first version of the instructional media. The result from the expert and students showed a good remark during the validation level for both the story elements and the game elements in the media. All in all, as an initial project, the media design is considered good to be developed further.
Firyal Rizki Salsabila Irena Maureen Copyright (c) 2022 Proceeding Series of International Conference on Arts and Humanities 2022-03-09 2022-03-09 2 Nang Ning Nung Neng Gung's Philosophical Study in the Strains of Javanese Gamelan as a Guide to Urip Bebrayan https://proceeding.unesa.ac.id/index.php/picah/article/view/23
This study aims to examine the philosophical meaning of nang ning Nung neng gung in Javanese gamelan strains as a guide for urip bebrayan agung. The body parts that often experience osteoarthritis are the hands, knees, hips, and spine. Hip osteoarthritis (hip osteoarthritis) occurs in the hip joint (ball-and-socket joint) with the femoral head. One of the medical efforts made by orthopedic doctors to treat hip osteoarthritis is to replace the implant material in the hip joint called a hip prosthesis. Currently, Indonesia is still importing Hip Prosthesis to meet national needs. However, what we know is that the anatomy of the Indonesian people (Mongoloid race) is different from the anatomy of other races in the world. Apart from the size, the price of imported implants will be much more expensive than those produced domestically. This study focused on modeling the femoral stem with titanium Ti6AI4V through SOLIDWORK and then simulating it using ANSYS software. The variables analyzed included stem length, offset length, and the magnitude of the force received by the implant for several activities such as normal walking, climbing and descending stairs, and tripping. The femoral stems analyzed were the smallest size femoral stem (size 3) with a length of 129 mm and a medial offset of 39.1 mm and the largest size femoral stem (size 11) with a length of 161 mm and a medial offset of 46.7 mm. The entire stem has a centrum-collum diaphysis angle (CCD) of 134 degrees. The patient's body weight was 700 N. The simulation results of the stress analysis showed that the design of the femoral stem size 11 was better than the other femoral stems in terms of stress distribution. The greatest stress that appears due to tripping causes the maximum von Mises stress on the femoral stem of 2487, 6 MPa and 5243, 4 MPa for size 11.
Diah Wulandari Copyright (c) 2022 Proceeding Series of International Conference on Arts and Humanities 2022-12-15 2022-12-15 2 Development of PLC Festo Module to Support Mechatronics Course in Department of Mechanical Engineering Unesa https://proceeding.unesa.ac.id/index.php/picah/article/view/141
Equipment assistance in the form of a Festo PLC trainer obtained from Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) has not been optimized to support Mechatronics lectures because there is no module in the operation of the trainer. To answer these problems, the specific purpose of this research is to develop the Festo PLC module to support Mechatronics lectures at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Surabaya (Unesa). The long-term goal to be achieved in this research is the realization of learning tools that can bridge the competencies possessed by students with the demands of the rapidly growing needs of the industrial world as an optimal debriefing effort for students who will later work as professionals in industry world. To achieve the above objectives, this research method uses the ADDIE model development (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). Since extracted organic solvents are not seen as having desirable qualities, they are not recycled and end up as liquid waste. The evaporation method was used to handle organic solvent waste from evaporation, and the evaporator exhibited the same physical and chemical characteristics as technical solvents. This study aimed to determine whether organic solvent waste from the evaporation process could be recycled and reused following the concept of green chemistry in laboratory waste treatment. The research method used in processing the recycled organic solvent waste (ethanol & methanol) from the evaporation was the experimental method through the evaporation process by evaporation and characterized based on the FT-IR and GC-MS test parameters on organic solvents pro-analysis and technical. Based on the results, the correlation coefficient analysis for testing the second recycled methanol- pro-analysis methanol, the second recycled methanol - technical methanol, and the second recycled ethanol- pro-analysis ethanol was quite strong. according to the results of the solvent characterization test of methanol and ethanol from the second recycling solvents by evaporation through the FT-IR test. Technical correlation values of 0.9982, 0.9983 and 0.9902. Meanwhile, the second recycled ethanol- pro-analysis ethanol had correlation coefficient value, 0.0079, was quite low. In Indonesia, each Islamic boarding school has different characteristics due to various regulations and curriculum models. For new students, this causes various inconveniences, learning challenges, adaptation challenges, and others. This study tries to determine the psychological well-being of students to assist in planning reinforcement and assist in solving problems presented by new students. The survey is a research methodology used in this study. The psychological well-being scale is the instrument used to collect data. According to research, 76% of first-year students struggle with mental health issues. New student concerns support these findings, including dissatisfaction with their student accommodations, their desire to return home, and their difficulty making friends. Some pesantren students show disobedient behavior towards the rules at the pesantren, frequently arrive late for several pesantren activities, and get frustrated quickly with their buddies.
Ari Khusumadewi Mayang Pramesti Copyright (c) 2022 Proceeding Series of International Conference on Arts and Humanities 2022-09-03 2022-09-03 2
