About the Journal

Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA) will host The 7th International Conference on Cultural Studies and Applied Linguistics (The 7th ICCSAL), formerly known as the Social Sciences, Humanities and Education Conference (SoSHEC), taking up a theme “Culturally Adaptive Futures: Linguistic Innovation, Creative Industries, and Sustainable Education in a Digital Global Era”. The aim of the conference is to explore and discuss how linguistic innovation, creative industries, and sustainable educational practices can contribute to culturally adaptive futures in an increasingly digital and globalized world. The conference provides a platform for researchers, scholars, and practitioners around the globe to present and exchange ongoing or completed research related to cultural studies, arts, literature, creative industries, and applied linguistics. This conference will feature an online plenary and individual sessions that address a wide range of topics within these interdisciplinary fields.
