Welcome to the 7th ICCSAL

Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA) will host The 6th International Conference on Cultural Studies and Applied Linguistics (The 6th ICCSAL), formerly known as the Social Sciences, Humanities and Education Conference (SoSHEC). This year, the conference takes the theme “Culturally Adaptive Futures: Linguistic Innovation, Creative Industries, and Sustainable Education in a Digital Global Era.” The conference aims to provide a platform for researchers, scholars, and practitioners from around the world to explore and exchange ideas on how linguistic innovation, creative industries, and sustainable educational practices can contribute to culturally adaptive futures in an increasingly digital and globalized society.

The conference welcomes presentations of ongoing or completed research within the broad areas of cultural studies, arts, literature, and applied linguistics. It will feature online plenary sessions and parallel individual sessions that address a wide range of interdisciplinary topics within these fields.
