Peer Review Process
Author Registers an Account
- The author creates an account on the open journal submission (OJS) system (https://proceeding.unesa.ac.id/index.php/icst ).
- Author should registers an active email to OJS because all information update about your article will be send to your email
Author Submits an Article
- The author uploads their manuscript using ICST article template
Editor Assigns a Reviewer
- The editor selects a suitable reviewer based on expertise, availability, and conflict of interest considerations.
- The reviewer is invited and given access to the submitted article.
Reviewer Reviews the Article
- All review processes are using OJS.
- The review process is using double-blind peer review system.
Editor Decision
- Based on the reviewer’s feedback, the editor makes a decision:
- Rejected: If the article does not meet the required standards, it is rejected, and the process ends.
- Accepted with Revisions: If the article has potential but needs improvements, the author is asked to revise it.
Author Revises the Article Based on Reviewer’s Feedback
- The author should revise the manuscript according to the reviewer’s comments.
- They submit a revised version along with a review response document to explaining the changes made.
Author Receives a Letter of Acceptance
- If the revised manuscript meets the journal’s standards, the author receives an official acceptance letter.
Author Pays the Registration Fee
- If applicable, the author completes the payment required for publication.
