The Effect of Financial Literacy, Risk Tolerance and Overconfidence on MSME Investment Decisions

The right investment decisions can help MSME grow and develop, while the wrong decisions can carry significant risks. It is important to understand how these factors affect investment decisions, especially among MSMEs, which have an important role in the regional economy. This study aims to determine how financial literacy, risk tolerance and overconfidence influence MSMEs investment decisions in Mataram This research method uses a quantitative approach with primary data and tests the data using path analysis with SEM-PLS 4. This research data was collected through a questionnaire with a sample size of 150 respondents from Mataram MSMEs. The results show that financial literacy, risk tolerance and overconfidence have a positive effect on investment decisions. Furthermore, this study contributes to the financial management literature of MSMEs by providing empirical evidence and a more comprehensive understanding of the factors that influence their investment decisions.
