Abstrak

The curriculum that includes Culture Arts education in Indonesia has developed from time to time. As is well understood, our country has undergone several curriculum adjustments and developments, starting with the 1975 curriculum, 1984 curriculum, 1994 curriculum, 2004 competency-based curriculum, 2006 Curriculum, 2013 curriculum, and which is currently being promoted is Merdeka Belajar Curriculum. In each of these curriculums, of course, brings a detailed content that is wanted to be highlighted. This paper discussed in detail the content of Culture Arts education in each curriculum. This paper is a literature review, with the aim, among others, to examine the contents of the Culture Arts curriculum from 1975 to the Merdeka Belajar curriculum, as well as to find the characteristics and relevance of each curriculum at that time. Sources of data are obtained from related literatures regarding the Culture Arts curriculum that has been and is currently running in Indonesia. Based on the data analysis, one thing that can be concluded is regardless of the advantages or disadvantages of the curriculum, it aims for the development and progress of students; and in general, it will also have a positive impact on the development and progress of a country.
