Abstract

Thrifting is a business that sells used goods, meaning that the used goods are still suitable for sale and use. Most of the items sold in thrift shops are still decent and of good quality. Goods sold in thrift stores are also often referred to as preloved goods. Thrifting has been widely discussed in Indonesia since 2018 and is now a promising business because it only requires a small amount of capital but can get a turnover many times over. Many young people today prefer to become thrifting entrepreneurs, because currently looking for sales targets in Indonesia is comprehensive, not only through digital platforms to sell, now there are many thrift market events that in almost every city there are communities or Event Organizers. handling. This scientific work aims to explain the thrifting trend that exists in Indonesia, the essence of thrifting for everyone is different, some people prefer direct thrifting at flea markets for the reason that they get more effort and feel how good it is to get jackpot or branded items in a pile of clothes with mixed contents. However, some people prefer shopping for thrift through digital platforms or shopping at events because the items sold are of course washed and ready to be used, in contrast to if you shop at the market or open the ball yourself, of course the items purchased have not been washed and there may still be some stains on the shirt.
