Abstract

Education plays a very important role for everyone. Education is developed over time and follows technological developments.
Therefore, many people do different ways to maximize their education. Such as following additional tutoring from professionals
outside of school. However, following the development of existing technology, the existence of tutoring began to be shifted by online tutoring. Like the Ruangguru application platform, Zenius, Pahamify and Brainly. This phenomenon has become a social change in society in the face of the post-Covid-19 pandemic era in the world of education. As it is known that during the pandemic, almost all educational institutions apply online lessons. Since then, many people have turned to online tutoring. The purpose of this study is to reveal the factors and reasons why online tutoring is increasingly in demand by the majority of people than offline tutoring itself. This study uses a quantitative method based on filling out a questionnaire by 50 participants. The results showed that 65% of the participants took online tutoring and 25% took offline tutoring. While as much as 10% never followed both.
