Abstract

For teenagers, sex education is very important to be taught from a young age because children and adolescents are vulnerable to
misinformation about sexuality. The background of this writing is because in the current digital era, teenagers' associations are
very broad so they must be given references or references in relationships, especially in sex. The purpose of this paper is to provide
information on how important sex education is given from an early age and to determine the effectiveness of the socialization
given to children by parents, school, and the environment as well as from the mass media. In addition, sex education can also
educate teenagers about various risky sexual practices and help them avoid them. By reviewing various information about
adolescent sex education, using a qualitative research approach and descriptive methods as well as data analysis. So we get the
following results that sex education needs to be given to all ages from young to adults in order to avoid all risky sexual behavior.
Also about what methods of delivering sex education are suitable for various age groups. Especially in the current era, which is
Generation Z, which we find a lot of already dating, with sex education they will be more aware and alert regarding matters
related to sex so that they can prevent unwanted things such as getting pregnant at a young age, abortion, HIV and
AIDS,other.
