Peran PIK R dalam Perubahan Sosial Kelompok Remaja di Desa Manggis

Abstract

Advances in the field of communication and information technology raise many social problems among adolescents in Indonesia.
They can easily and quickly get various information. There is a variety of negative information or content that is easily circulated
on social media, such as pornographic videos. Adolescents themselves have an important role in social change in their environment. This important role is in line with the current social changes in society. This research is aimed at knowing and understanding the roles of youth in the PIK-R forum. The positive container provided by PIK-R Taruna Terpadu Manggis village can overcome problems that arise in the community, especially teenagers in Manggis village. This research uses a qualitative approach, case study research method with data collection techniques, namely direct interviews with PIK-R members, the authors can find out the important roles they play for social change in the community in Manggis village, especially teenagers. The results of the research by interviewing PIK-R will refer to the impact and benefits of the roles or programs that PIK-R youth have done. Through this work program, youth will be directed towards activities that will have a positive impact on themselves.
