Abstract

The development of information technology triggers comprehensive changes in all aspects, including communication.
However, rapid changes inevitably lead to negative connotations such as promiscuity. Due to the growing ease of access
to digital communications, we can connect with many people. The purpose of this study was to determine the relevance of
communication to students and to assess how many students in the campus environment were affected as a result of
freedom of communication. This study uses qualitative and quantitative methods by collecting information from several
informants to obtain data that is in accordance with how they feel. The main data collection is informant observation
and in-depth interviews. The results obtained indicate that most of the respondents stated that the most common
promiscuity found was courtship. The conclusion obtained from this study is the frequency of students who are quite a
lot affected by promiscuity
