STRATEGI KOMUNIKASI DALAM MENANGGULANGI PELECEHAN SEKSUAL DI MEDIA SOSIAL TIKTOK

Abstract

The development of Communication Technology has changed the way society interacts with the emergence of social media platforms like TikTok. With over 106 million users in Indonesia, TikTok offers a space for expression and interaction among teenagers. However, this can lead to cases of sexual harassment. This study focuses on communication strategies to address sexual harassment on TikTok, using a descriptive qualitative approach to analyze comments on the TikTok account of Bernadya, a famous singer. The analysis results show the importance of enhancing security features, conducting educational campaigns on social media ethics, and enforcing stricter policies to create a safe online environment and provide support for victims.
