Abstract

Constraints that are often faced by business actors are the lack of ability to design product packaging, low knowledge of
packaging manufacturing and design procedures. The MSME industry is currently engaged in the food sector with
limited and improvised packaging designs, so that the impact on the selling value of the product is low, even though the
taste of the product deserves to be highly appreciated. The data collection method used is the observation method and the
interview method, while the data analysis method uses an inductive approach because this research is qualitative. The
result of this research is that SMEs in the culinary field who have attended packaging design training have begun to be
able to make more attractive packaging designs for use on their own products, with improved packaging, the value of a
product also increases.
