Transformasi Pola Asuh dan Karakter Anak Berdasarkan Perkembangan Teknologi di Era Digital

Abstract

Parenting is a form of providing education and knowledge to parents so that they can implement the
correct rules of society. Parenting patterns play a very important role in building and shaping a
child's character. Parents have the most important role and function in providing parenting to
children. Apart from that, parents must be a reflection for their children. In other words, whether a
child's condition is good or bad can be seen from how big a role parents play in providing
parenting. This research aims to see how the existence of technology in the digital era has an impact
on parenting methods and children's character. In this research, we want to see how parents adapt
to parenting styles in the digital era because they have different conditions. In collecting data, the
author used a descriptive qualitative research method with a phenomological approach as a
theoretical reference. By using this method, it is hoped that it can explain how the character of
children and the parenting patterns of children by parents can experience very significant changes
as a result of technological developments in the digital era. A child's character grows and bears
fruit along with the knowledge the child takes from the family, home environment, school and other
environments.
