Upaya Peningkatan Perilaku Pencegahan Penyakit Demam Berdarah Melalui Pemberdayaan Program Pemberantasan Sarang Nyamuk (PSN) di Desa Mojoduwur

Abstract

One of the problems that often arise is health problems. Efforts to improve healthy lifestyle patterns need to be done in
order to avoid dangerous hazards. The problems in Mojoduwur Village are related to health problems including the
spread of dengue fever cases that occur in the village environment and the lack of public awareness to maintain
environmental cleanliness. The purpose of this activity is to improve the behavior of preventing dengue disease through
the empowerment of the mosquito nest eradication program (PSN). Methods for implementing KKN-T activities
include identifying demographic conditions of the population, identifying potential which can then be developed, holding
discussions, interviews, and observations, conducting needs analysis, designing materials, implementing empowerment
activities, and conducting evaluations. The results obtained in this activity include: 1) awareness of the village
community about the importance of maintaining a clean environmental pattern and creating health; 2) increasing public
knowledge about the dangers of Aedes aegypti mosquitoes and the characteristics of dengue fever mosquitoes; 3)
increasing public knowledge of prevention efforts through the mosquito eradication program (PSN) and 4) community
experts in regulating a clean and healthy lifestyle as an effort to prevent the breeding of Aedes aegypti mosquitoes
