Abstract

The use of the TikTok application is well known in all circles and is currently widely circulating in Indonesia. The
TikTok application is here with a low reputation from society, but ironically the average generation Z child is very
poor enjoy this app. Based on this premise, a generalization can be drawn that if used and mediated appropriately,
the TikTok application will become a medium interesting and fun learning, especially for students to prepare
themselves for the next level, namely the world of work. The purpose of this research is to find out the benefits or
utilization of social media users through the TikTok application for teenagers or students in order to find out what
impacts students get after using the application. The research method we used was a qualitative method by
conducting observations by asking several questions to students and obtaining answers from several students.
Furthermore, we also used the literature study method by reading and taking from various journals with clear
sources and readings according to the theme we took. The findings from our research are that students agree that
using the TikTok application can help improve the quality of soft skills possessed by students in various ways that
we can see and learn through the TikTok application. From the research, it is also hoped that TikTok can help in the
field of learning or education, because in the TikTok application there are many content creators who help improve
the quality of learning and soft skills
