Interpretasi Lagu “Rayuan Perempuan Gila” Karya Nadin Amizah sebagai Pemahaman tentang Kesehatan Mental

Abstract

A song is a work that many people are interested in. In every song there are lyrics that have
meaningful meanings. In the lyrics, the musicians want to convey the message of the relationship
with human social life. The lyrics of the song "Rayuan Perempuan Gila" use words that are very
close in meaning. Nadin Amizah as a musician interprets this song with the experiences she has
had. The purpose of this research is to find out the meaning of "romanticization" from the lyrics
of Rayuan Perempuan Gila which is related to a person's mentality. This research uses a
qualitative narrative method and uses a content analysis technique approach that will be
researched and requires a narrative explanation. Using the type of qualitative research, using
the paradigm of constructivism. As a result of this research, Nadin Amizah expresses and voices
the importance of mental health awareness. The song also gives the message that support,
understanding, and efforts to understand people who experience mental problems are very
important. The song tells the story of a woman who is insecure about herself, so she feels
unworthy to tell her story. In this song, she created lyrics that seem bitter so that listeners can
understand and take the other side of women. In this study, it can be concluded that music can
be used as a powerful tool to increase one's mental awareness. The song also encourages talking
openly about mental health. The song emphasizes the importance of supporting those who need
support and understanding.
