Abstract

In the era of society 5.0, social media as a business tool can help consumers get information when
and where they need it. The purpose of this research is to see how Vieraoleholeh.id plans its Digital
Marketing via Instagram in an effort to increase brand awareness. Instagram is a marketing
communication tool that can be used to reach a wide market, interact with consumers and connect.
Researchers use the SOSTAC theory which means situation, goals, strategies, tactics, actions, and
control and presents a system as the basis for implementing the stages of marketing planning. This
study used a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques in the form of
observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects of this study consisted of Viera Souvenir
Digital Marketing employees and consumers who follow the @vieraoleholeh.id Instagram account.
The object of this research is Instagram @Vieraoleh.id Digital Marketing Planning in an Effort to
Increase Brand awareness. The results of this study indicate that Viera Souvenir has implemented
a marketing communication strategy by implementing SOSTAC well. Using Instagram as a Digital
Marketing platform is proven to be able to add information about Viera Souvenir products to
consumers and be able to increase company brand awareness.
