Bangka Belitung. Digital forest is a combination of a group of plants and animals
combined with the sophistication of digital technology, which gave birth to a work of the
Arsel Community in the form of Peramun Hill digital forest in Bangka Belitung. The
feature used in this digital forest is an android-based virtual tour guide application to
introduce the types and benefits of plants and bestow an overview of the natural beauty
of Peramun Hill. The virtual tour guide application includes Peramun Hill Virtual
Guide, Virtual Zoo, Recognize Trees, Virtual Photo Spot, and Online Map Navigation.
The function of the digital forest is to maintain the preservation of existing nature,
educate young people and visitors while learning the names, benefits and forms of flora
and fauna without seeing the physical directly, and increase the tourism sector and local
economy. The technological sophistication that has become ubiquitous can make life
easier, as this digital forest can attract tourists to visit and try new things with the

devices that are less supportive, it can be a challenge for the local community and the
Arsel Community to facilitate visitors.
