Abstract

The influence of Korean culture on teenagers is increasing, where before they were introduced to
globalized media, Indonesian teenagers were less interested in Korean culture. The influence of
Korean culture has a huge effect on Indonesian teenagers where they are obsessed with things in
Korean culture. The influence of Korean culture in Indonesia can change the behavior of young
Indonesians, if these children are too obsessed with things related to Korea. How to overcome this
depends on the person's own point of view and it would be better if theenvironment or parents told
them about the good things about their own nation's culture, so that Indonesian culture is not
displaced by Korean culture orwestern culture. Thisresearch aimsto minimize the influence ofKorean
culture on the mindset of Indonesian teenagers. Observation is a research activity in the context of
collecting data related to research problems through direct observation and interviews as well as
filling out questionnaires. To get maximum results, this research uses a qualitative approach. This
data was collected throughdocumentation media (internet) and interviews. The results of thisresearch
showthat the influence of Korean culture is very influential on the mindset of Indonesian teenagers, so
to overcome this problem, Indonesian teenagers are expected to get to know and learn more about
their culture and leave Korean culture behind.
