Abstract

An in-depth analysis of this work reveals a variety of strategies to convey messages about the abuse
of power. The focus of the analysis is an in-depth study of narrative, character and visual aspects.
The application of the elements is clearly delineated, emphasizing the central character's
manipulative behavior exhibited by other characters, who consistently use their power to achieve
narrative goals. Furthermore, this research shows how the actions of the government affect
individuals and communities around it, demonstrating the dynamics and complexities underlying
the phenomenon of abuse of power. This research aims to analyze the impact of the cinematic
medium on shaping people's perceptions and reactions to the dynamics depicted in the work.
Furthermore, this research aims to accurately and critically reveal how the abuse of power can be
reflected in the context of film history, while emphatically demonstrating the need for transparency,
transparency and accountability in all aspects of the use of power. This research uses qualitative
analysis with the Roland Barthes semiotic approach. The implications of these findings provide
significant insights into how cinema, as an art and media medium, has the ability to craft stories
that resonate with social issues. Not to forget, this study also examines carefully and deeply the
mechanisms and manifestations of power abuse that affect the dynamics of everyday life.
