Abstract

The use of Instagram social media is familiar to most people, because in the current digital era the
use of social media varies greatly depending on how you use it. One of the benefits of the social
media Instagram is that it is a medium for building an image or what is often called personal
branding. This media can help build and spread information about oneself so that it can be known
by many people through existing followers, like Belinda Firda. This is what brands himself as a
presenter or master of ceremonies so that it is easier for many people to know that he is a presenter.
The purpose of this research is to find out the use of Instagram in the personal branding process
and how to build a positive image within yourself so that you can be known by many people not by
sensation but through existing achievements and experiences. This research uses a qualitative
method with a phenomenological approach because this research looks at the experiences of the
sources. The results of this research were obtained through interviews with resource persons,
namely that existing experiences can influence the personal branding process. Apart from that, it is
important for someone who provides services such as presenters or others, because this can help to
expand the reach so that more people can know about the services offered
