Analisis Resepsi Khalayak Terhadap Kasus Nyak Kopsah Vs. Food Vlogger

This research discusses a place to eat located on the side of the road, named Nyak Kopsah. Type
of qualitative research, reception research method which aims to understand how audiences
interpret messages from mass media, and the constructivism paradigm. The owner of this
restaurant, often known as Nyak Kopsah, has become a hot topic of conversation on social media.
Due to Nyak Kopsah's response to not accepting criticism of his restaurant by food vloggers and
customers debated by the public, he responded in a high tone. The purpose of this article is to
analyze the community's perspective on the case. This research explores issues such as
disproportionate prices, inaccessible locations, negative service, and owners' responses to
criticism. This research also discusses the impact of social media on business, the importance of
service quality in the culinary industry, and perception theory by Stuart Hall. The research results
show how the sources responded to the Nyak Kopsah case; 1. Public opinion about the quality and
service at the Nyak Kopsah eating place; 2. Audience opinion about Nyak Kopsah's response to
the critical video. The results of this research are that each interviewee has various perceptions of
the quality of service and facilities at Nyak Kopsah, the roadside food seller. They all agreed that
the price of food was too expensive compared to the quality of service and facilities provided. They
also criticized the unhygienic way of packaging food in plastic bags
