Analisis Strategi Pelayanan Administrasi di Kecamatan Kutorejo Terhadap Berbagai Karakter Masyarakat

Abstract

Public services are important in helping successful development, but not every community is able to provide
encouragement to expedite the development process, because individual communities have diverse characters. So
the aim of this research is to understand the strategies used by administrative service employees in Kutorejo District
in dealing with various types of community characters. The research method used is a qualitative method using
observation, interview and documentation techniques. Apart from that, this research also uses library research so
that the data obtained can be processed into credible data. This research uses a theoretical approach by Max Weber
regarding symbolic interactionism, where each individual acts following his interpretation of an existing meaning.
The theory of symbolic interactionism is considered very appropriate because every visible character of society
certainly has its own meaning and society will also act according to the interpretation it sees, so that it can trigger
interactions between the society that creates a symbol and the society that gives meaning to the existing symbol. The
results of this research are that administrative service employees in Kutorejo District understand the various
characteristics of the existing community, employees have strategies for dealing with the community while still
prioritizing politeness and patience. So, based on this research, it can be concluded that as an administrative service
employee who interacts directly with the public, of course he must be able to understand various kinds of characters
and must have sensitivity to symbols presented by the public and be able to interpret them
