Humans were created as social creatures who need other humans in their lives. The existence
of this then makes humans naturally have the desire to marry or get married. However, getting
married or married does not always go smoothly. The existence of problems that cannot be
resolved in this marriage makes someone choose to divorce. After a divorce, parents still have
the responsibility to fulfill their child's rights. Given this phenomenon, the aim of this research
is to find out how the implementation of providing children's rights after divorce and the
impact of divorce on educating children's rights. The research method used is qualitative with
data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation and literature study. The
interview used in this research is a structured interview by preparing several questions related
to this research. The subjects in this research were collected using a purposive sampling
technique of four people. The data in this research is in the form of secondary data and
primary data. This research produces findings that after a divorce is carried out, the child's
rights tend to be fulfilled by the mother as the party with whom the child is together. It is not
uncommon for parents after a divorce to refuse to care for their children so they are entrusted
to grandmother or grandfather. This action can be ordered as child custody which can be
reported to the authorities and can result in punishment in the form of a fine or imprisonment.
