Sosialisasi KPU (Komisi Pemilihan Umum) Bagi Pemilih Pemula di Kabupaten Blitar

Abstract

This article explains about how much the benefits of the socialization of the KPU (General Election
Commission) for beginner voters in Blitar Regency, the socialization of the KPU to beginner voters
is the right action and is a wise first step so that beginner voters are not misguided in making the
right choice, which is honest, free, confidential, and adheres to other election principles. This study
aims to obtain the results of how effective the socialization of the KPU is to the novice voters, and
how much readiness and knowledge of the novice voters in the implementation of the upcoming 2024
elections. The method used in this research is the interview method. This interview research
technique describes the content objectively, systematically, and qualitatively. The results of this study
state that, from interviews that researchers conducted with the secretary of the Blitar Regency KPU,
Mrs. Puspita Palupi. She mentioned that the Blitar Regency KPU socializes in various schools,
boarding schools and various universities, to provide education, increase voters' knowledge,
understanding, and awareness of the upcoming elections. So that novice voters can choose the right
candidate leaders to welcome the Golden Indonesia in 2024.
