Abstract

This research has the main aim of exploring the poor community's views on the services provided
by the Community Health Center in Wiyung, Surabaya. The data collection method used involved
field research, which included observation and in-depth interviews with 10 purposive sampling.
The collected data was then analyzed using a descriptive qualitative approach. The results of the
research reveal that the public has a positive view of the Wiyung Community Health Center in
various aspects of service. This includes efficiency in administrative services, including careful
examination and providing transparent information to patients. Puskesmas employees are also
assessed as maintaining good standards of action and providing services at a satisfactory speed.
Apart from that, outpatient services at the Wiyung Community Health Center are considered
adequate, especially in terms of administering medication according to the patient's disease
diagnosis. Referral services have also received praise, with community health centers able to refer
patients to hospitals with complete facilities if necessary. The information provided to patients in
the referral process is considered easy to understand. Thus, the conclusion that can be drawn from
this research is that the poor society has a positive view of the quality of services provided by the
Wiyung Community Health Center, including important aspects such as administration, outpatient
care and referrals.
