Prof. Shyh-Huei Hwang, Ph.D

Vice President of National Yunlin University of Science and Technology
Prof. Shyh-Huei Hwang, Ph.D is a full-time Professor and Vice President of National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, Taiwan, with an academic career at the institution since 1997. He holds a Doctor of Science in Design Science from Chiba University, Japan, and earlier degrees in art and industrial design. He has served in numerous senior leadership roles, including Dean of International Affairs, Dean of the College of Design, University Library Director, and Director of the Center for Sustainable Development and Social Practice. His expertise spans design culture, product and exhibition design, cultural and creative industries, craft studies, community development, and social innovation, with a strong focus on cultural sustainability and applied design practice.
Prof. Ts. Dr. Mariyam Jameelah Ghazali

Prof. Ts. Dr. Mariyam Jameelah Binti Ghazali is a Full Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. She is a principal investigator in the Advanced Materials Research Group and a research associate in the Solid Oxide Fuel Cell initiative. She earned her Bachelor and Master degrees in Materials Engineering from Universiti Sains Malaysia and a PhD from the University of Sheffield. Since joining UKM in 2002, she has held leadership roles including Editor-in-Chief of Jurnal Kejuruteraan and Assistant Dean. She co-founded the Malaysian Tribology Society and serves as Vice President of MYTRIBOS and the Asian Tribology Council. Her research spans fundamental and applied materials science and tribology internationally.
Dr. Stavros Michailos

Dr. Stavros Michailos is a Lecturer in Chemical Engineering at the University of Hull. He obtained his PhD from the University of Manchester, funded by Shell Research UK, and previously held postdoctoral research positions at the University of Manchester, Aston University, and the University of Sheffield. His research focuses on the design, modelling, and optimisation of low-carbon energy systems, including carbon capture utilisation and storage (CCUS), sustainable aviation fuel production, hydrogen technologies, and decentralised energy systems. His work also involves life cycle and techno-economic assessments to support the development of sustainable and efficient energy technologies. He has published more than forty research papers, book chapters, and technical reports in the field of sustainable energy engineering.

Prof. Dr. Stephen Billett is a Professor of Adult and Vocational Education at Griffith University, Australia. He has an extensive academic career focused on workplace learning and vocational education, following earlier professional experience in industry and vocational training. His research examines learning through work, occupational development, and practice-based education to support effective lifelong learning systems. He has published widely, including numerous books, journal articles, and edited volumes, and has contributed to international organizations such as UNESCO. He also serves as the founding Editor-in-Chief of Vocations and Learning and has received multiple international recognitions for his contributions to educational research.
Dr. Beny Bandanadjaja, S.T., M.T.
Director of Learning and Student Affairs, Directorate General of Higher Education Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Republic of Indonesia
Dr. Beny Bandanadjaja serves as the Director of Learning and Student Affairs at the Directorate General of Higher Education within the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia. In this strategic role, he is responsible for formulating, implementing, and monitoring national policies related to the improvement of learning systems and the holistic development of students across higher education institutions in Indonesia. His directorate oversees a wide range of academic functions including curriculum development, teaching quality enhancement, digital learning transformation, and student services.
