Abstract

Abstract

Workload and Employee performance are important factors in determining the effectiveness and efficiency of an organization. Excessive or unbalanced workload can affect employee motivation, health, and well-being, which in turn can reduce their performance. This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of workload on employee performance at the Surabaya City BPBD.

The type of research used is quantitative. The instrument is through a questionnaire. The sample in this study were all 44 Surabaya City BPBD employees. The variables in this study are workload and employee performance. The analysis uses simple linear regression analysis.

The results of the study t count of 5.492 with a probability of 0.000. The significance value (0.000 <α = 0.05) indicates that the workload variable has a unidirectional (positive) and significant effect on the performance of Surabaya City BPBD employees

It is expected that Surabaya City BPBD employees can provide an understanding of the importance of managing a balanced workload in achieving good performance.
