Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of education and training on the performance of Civil Servants (ASN) at the Office of Industry and Labor in Surabaya City. A quantitative approach with an explanatory research design was employed. Data were collected from 49 respondents who had participated in official training programs. The data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software. The results indicate that education and training have a significant impact on employee performance. This confirms that structured training programs play a crucial role in enhancing employee capacity and improving the quality of public services. The findings imply that public sector organizations should integrate continuous training initiatives as a strategic component in performance improvement. Furthermore, this research suggests exploring additional factors that influence employee performance to develop a more comprehensive human resource management model in the public sector.
