Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of servant leadership style on performance at the Surabaya City Regional Disaster Management Agency. The servant leadership style emphasizes service, empathy, and empowerment of subordinates in an effort to achieve organizational goals. The Surabaya City Regional Disaster Management Agency as a strategic institution in disaster management requires effective leadership to improve the performance of its employees. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach with a survey method through the distribution of questionnaires to 78 respondents who are employees of the Surabaya City Regional Disaster Management Agency. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression. The results of this study indicate the importance of strengthening servant leadership characteristics in a public organization environment to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of employee work.
