This study was conducted to identify the differences in abnormal return and trading volume activity in relation to the 2024 Presidential Election in Indonesia. The sample was selected using a saturated sampling technique, involving all 45 companies listed in the LQ45 index during the period form February to July 2024. The observation period covered 7 days before and 7 days after the event. Data analysis was carried out using the Paired Sample t-Test with IBM Statistics SPSS 26 at a 5% significance level. The results indicate a significant difference in abnormal returns before and after the election, suggesting that the 2024 Presidential Election contained information that triggered a reaction from capital market participants. However, no significant difference was found in trading volume activity before and after the election, implying that trading activity on the Indonesia Stock Exchange remained relatively stable and did not experience a substantial increase as a result of the election.
