Islamic banking in Indonesia has undergone rapid development with the birth of PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BSI) through the merger of BRI Syariah, BNI Syariah, and Bank Syariah Mandiri. This study aims to measure the effectiveness of post-merger change management on corporate performance by comparing the pre-merger (2019–2020) and post-merger (2021–2024) periods. The research method uses a quantitative approach with secondary data from annual reports, analyzed through the Balanced Scorecard across four perspectives: financial, customer, internal business process, and learning and growth. The results show that the merger successfully improved performance across almost all perspectives, although the Total Asset Turnover experienced a decline. The limitation of this study lies in the use of quantitative data which does not capture qualitative aspects. This finding confirms the importance of well-planned change management to drive organizational transformation and strengthen the competitiveness of Islamic banking in Indonesia.
