Keywords:
Employee Relations, Core Values Internalization, Employee Loyalty, Systematic Literature Review, Organizational CultureAbstract
This study aims to map how Employee Relations Programs, Core Values Internalization, and Employee Loyalty are conceptualized and represented in previous studies, synthesize the relationships among these constructs, and identify research gaps and directions for future research. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted using the PRISMA framework. The literature search was performed through the Scopus database using the keywords “Employee Loyalty” and “Employee Relations Management”, complemented by relevant additional sources. From 335 records identified through Scopus, 22 studies were included after the screening process, supplemented by three relevant studies from other sources, resulting in 25 studies in the final synthesis. The findings indicate that Employee Relations Programs can be mapped through communication, organizational support, participation, consultation, employee voice, fairness, recognition, respect, trust, and interpersonal relationships. Core Values Internalization can be represented through understanding, acceptance, belief, value alignment, organizational identification, and the application of organizational values in work behavior. Employee Loyalty is associated with employee attachment, identification, satisfaction, commitment, contribution, and the intention to maintain relationships with the organization. The synthesis identifies two main perspectives, namely the relational perspective and the value internalization perspective, which have largely been examined separately. The study concludes that integrating these perspectives provides a more comprehensive conceptual basis for understanding Employee Loyalty and offers directions for developing empirical models in future research.
