Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership style and motivation on employee performance at public sector. A quantitative approach was applied using a survey method and a saturated sampling technique, involving all 89 employees as respondents. The research instrument, a closed-ended questionnaire, was tested for validity and reliability prior to data collection. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 29. The findings reveal that both transformational leadership and motivation have a positive impact on employee performance. A leadership style that inspires, provides individualized attention, and encourages innovative thinking has been shown to support performance improvement. Additionally, motivation managed through reward systems, career development opportunities, and a supportive work environment contributes to enhanced employee productivity. These findings offer valuable insights for policymakers in designing more effective human resource strategies to improve performance and strengthen the effectiveness of public sector organizations.
