Abstract

Employee performance is one of the key factors in achieving organizational goals, which is influenced by various aspects, including performance allowances and workload. This research aims to determine the effect of performance allowances and workload on employee performance within the Department of Education of Surabaya City. The research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The sample consists of 105 employees selected from the Department of Education of Surabaya City. The data analysis technique employed is multiple linear regression.

The results show that performance allowances and workload have a positive effect on employee performance. These findings indicate that improving the provision of performance allowances and managing workload effectively can encourage increased employee performance. The results of this study can serve as a reference for management in designing more targeted human resource management policies.
