Abstrak

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine and explain the influence of motivation on the performance of employees of the BPBD City of Surabaya. The research method used by the researcher is a quantitative approach that is associative. While the location of the study was carried out at the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Surabaya City with a population of 250 employees. The data collection process used a questionnaire and the results were analyzed using SPSS Version 22. The results of the study explain that the innovation variable (X1) partially (individually) has a positive and significant effect on the employee performance variable (Y). The motivation variable (X2) partially or individually has a positive and significant effect on the employee performance variable (Y). The training variable (X3) partially or individually has a positive and significant effect on the employee performance variable (Y). While simultaneously or together the variables of innovation, motivation and training have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The suggestion from the researcher is that for BPBD Surabaya City, follow-up of the training results is needed so that they can be applied directly so that performance related to the training can also increase.
