Abstrak

This study aims to test how much occupational safety and health and self efficacy affect the performance of employees of the Fire and Rescue Department of Surabaya City. In this study, the tests used are validity test, reliability test, normality test, multicollinearity test, simultaneous test (F), partial test (t) and coefficient of determination test (R2). The research approach used is a quantitative method using 143 samples with data collection using a questionnaire. The statistical analysis used in this study is multiple linear regression using the Statistical Package for the School Sciences (SPSS) version 29. The results of the study indicate that occupational safety and health and self efficacy have a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of the Surabaya City Fire and Rescue Service. The implications of this study indicate the need to increase training and socialization regarding occupational safety procedures periodically, evaluate the availability and suitability of personal protective equipment and other safety support facilities, and hold psychological training programs, or mentoring to strengthen employee confidence and belief in their abilities
