Conference History

The International Conference on Digital Minds for Sustainable Quality of Life (ICoDiMSQL) is the inaugural edition of a new academic forum initiated by the Faculty of Psychology, State University of Surabaya, Indonesia, in 2026. The conference was conceived as a multidisciplinary response to the rapid digital transformation affecting human well-being, behavior, and potential, with the specific theme "Psychological Well-being and Human Potential in the Digital Age: A Multidisciplinary Perspective." As the first conference in the series, ICoDiMSQL 2026 aims to bring together international researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to share cutting-edge findings, foster cross-disciplinary collaboration, and establish a quality-controlled publication pathway, including a selected papers collaboration with Springer. The hybrid format (onsite and online) was chosen to maximize global participation while maintaining meaningful academic exchange. This inaugural event sets the foundation for future ICoDiMSQL conferences, which will continue to explore the evolving relationship between digital minds and sustainable quality of life.
